Lunar Station at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital with the help of Juegaterapia

Do you know the new Lunar Station that Juegaterapia has built at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital?

Last November 2 We had the pleasure of attending the presentation of this very special project. We were able to experience in person how the children admitted to the isolation rooms of the Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid and their families will be able to enjoy a magical experience that will help them overcome their admission in a more positive way.

The inauguration was attended by the astronaut Pedro Duke and the Honorary President of the Juegaterapia Foundation, the television Man in black. During the presentation we learned about the positive aspects of this type of initiative for children who spend long stays and treatments in hospitals and the importance of a pleasant and fun environment for their recovery. The Lunar Station will serve about 700 visitors a year and will be a place where its little visitors will learn and have fun watching movies, games about the universe, making robotic friends and even watching a virtual sunrise.

Last year, through our contribution to the Inmaculada Medina Photography Contest, we collaborated with a solidarity award which was intended for this project. It has been an honor for Grupo WorkandLife to participate in a solidarity action with which we feel so identified. Thank you very much and congratulations to everyone who has made it possible!
