World Congress of Early Childhood Educators “Seeking educational excellence – Education 0-3 years”
On May 27 and 28, the World Congress of Early Childhood Educators “Seeking educational excellence – Education 0-3 years” in Madrid and Grupo Workandlife was present.
Esther Miranda, Irene Rodríguez and David Blanco, Educators of the Workandlife Group of the Altamira Infant School, and Teresa Albuger, Pedagogical Director, were presenting the Annual Project Experience carried out at the School “120 or so rubber ducks” awarded with Special Mention in the previous call for the Award for Educational Excellence and Innovation 0-3 years organized by AMEI and HERMEX. It was a pleasure to be able to accompany them in the presentation and an honor to share the agenda with experts such as Alvaro Bilbao, Manel Fernández, and other colleagues who shared their experiences in Nursery Schools.
Objectives of the event were.
- Achieve teaching work based on current pedagogical trends, research and current scientific knowledge.
- A professional work that respects the times and rhythms of maturation of children so that they evolve with balance, physical and emotional well-being and so that they learn with pleasure.
- Convert the classroom into a space for emotional exchanges, for building attitudes, positive emotional experiences and creative sensibilities to learn to be, to know, to know and to desire to do and to live together.
- Learn about innovative methodological experiences that contribute to optimizing pedagogical proposals.
- Dignify the wonderful work of the First Cycle teachers and vindicate the educational value of the Centers from 0 to 3 years.
